Single Filters

If you’ve got a reverse osmosis water filtration system you know that it’s only useful if its filters are working properly, and at FilterCentral.com you’ll find the right filter you need to get your water as clean as you need it to be. From solids to chemicals, small units to whole-house systems, if your water’s not tasting, feeling, or smelling right, it’s time to swap out some of those filters.

When your water’s tasting a little metallic chances, chances are your system’s carbon filter is running low. Thankfully, you can come to us and find filters that will clear out chloramines, iron, hydrogen sulphide and heavy metals. A new carbon filter will also help reduce the presence of chlorine, mercury, and lead in your water.

When your system’s not giving you the amount of water you know its capable of, it’s likely that the sediment filter is clogged and won’t let water pass through. Replacing the sediment filter when it stops working will help prevent dust, dirt, and other particles from clogging up your system.

The filters in your reverse osmosis water filter require scheduled maintenance and replacement to ensure your drinking water is constantly clean and great tasting. Changing your filters regularly will extend the life span of your membrane. Below is a general guideline for the frequency they should be changed, however these are just recommendations and its best to check with your manufacturers specified filter life span.

  • Prefilter - Change every 6 - 12 months
  • Post Filter - Change every 12 months
